The best way to prevent most dental disease is to brush your pet's teeth! A minimum of once daily (two times is better) brushing really helps to reduce plaque, and eventual periodontal disease. If there is a lot of tartar build up or gum disease, we need to perform the cleaning and polishing for you using anesthesia and our dental equipment. Remember, if you brush at home, use toothpaste made for animals. We like the C.E.T. brand, but there are others.
